double-byte editing is broken since 3.0.2.x?

i've reported bug but it doesn't seem to get any attention. hope some ritlab guys in this forum can see it. since 3.0.2.x (the first one i tried and confirmed this problem is 3.0.2.2), chinese editing is broken in windows editor mode: - now backspace can only delete a half of a chinese character
