Well, if its a text/plain message then the lines should not be that
long anyway.
Unless its text/plain;format=flowed in which case the mail client is
expected to do
nchroMagic which checks file sizes and last mod dates, and only
copied files that have changed.
It works well for me. I have previously tried to use The Bat! built in
sync facilities (to keep a laptop and a desktop in sync) but it never
worked well. I now prefer to have my backups as just regular file
