Thank you very much. Yes, after I selected "beep and move to another folder",
the box before "Use PC Speaker" became usable. Now I realize this is not
related with the problem of not playing sound when I receive a new mail.

Thank you very much for your kind reply. But I think my PC speaker works well
since I can play music, watch vedios in other applications.
I am using IMAP accout, does it relate with the problem of not playing a
notification sound in case of a new incoming mail?
