Hello Tbudl,

We have new administration. They are used to Outlook and quite dissatisfied
with The Bat!. I have a laundry list of items that they wish to have changed in
order to keep using The Bat!; otherwise, they want to look into other options
(i.e. Outlook). Some things, I can figure out - they want all email replies to
default to top-posting, for example, and they want the library logo included in
the footer as well as social networking links and a privacy statement. Those, I
have figured out. Other things, however, I haven't figured out. Also, I'm
hoping that there's an easy way to duplicate profiles/template settings between
accounts and computers as I don't want to have to manually make all of these
changes on each individual computer. Hopefully, I can get some assistance with
these items from the list, as I really, really do not want to have to move to
Outlook.

Outstanding items quoted directly from the laundry list:

- Presentation of email to be received or sent without bracket lead

- Footnote contact information remains with the body of the email. (presently
the footnote is at the bottom of the page under the email trail)

- Able to link directly to websites or online forms

- Able to accept meeting invitations (outlook)

- Able to link directly to a calendar function

- Sharable calendar for admin staff

- Able to save email in word document file

I can easily change what is added before the angle brackets when quoting but I
haven't been able to figure out how to get rid of the angle brackets entirely.

I can move the quotation section below the footer in the reply template but
that makes it part of the footer and changes its formatting accordingly. Does
someone have a trick to override that?

In addition to the main laundry list, I've been asked for a way to prevent The
Bat! from automatically filling in addresses/groups from the history of typed
addresses (should use address book only, so no one types addre...@example.com
and ends up with addre...@example.com, addre...@example.com,
addre...@example.com automatically filled in simply because the previous
message that they sent had all of those addresses in the TO field).

Note: Please don't tell me that some of these are non-standard ways to
configure email or that they are not the preferred practice. I know this but
have been told that these are acceptable business practice. I've been given the
task of fulfilling the laundry list with The Bat! or moving to an email program
that *will* fulfill the list. If someone happens to have excellent references
to evidence that an item is NOT an acceptable practice, I'd love to have said
references.

We're currently on 6.0.12 - upgrading is an option ONLY if I can fulfill most
if not all of the laundry list. Obviously, The Bat! does not have a sharable
calendar included in it but I'd be grateful for suggestions of ones that work
well in conjunction with The Bat!, either hosted or self-hosted.
