Yes, but the problem is, some messages are read and others are not. So
I'm not really looking for an "all or nothing" solution. Oh well, guess
I'll have to cope with it.

Thanks for the response, although it wasn't quite what I was hoping for.
I tried exporting my messages as mbox files and loading them with
Mail.app (which has better IMAP support), but found that the "read" flag
values weren't maintained. Do you know of a workaround for this?

Has anyone here been able to copy their messages from an old POP
account to an IMAP server? I can't seem to be able to do it. I tried
when tb! 2.0 first came out, and couldn't get it to work, so I filed a
bug report, which was then closed saying that it works. But if I go to
