Hi All,
I'm using an older version of TB! specifically 3.99.
In the last couple of days .tmp files have begun to appear on my
desktop. I didn't make any change to TB! that I know of.
Any suggestions on how to stop this would be greatly appreciated.

Hi All,
I have a quick (and most likely stupid) question about the the numbers
that appear next to the personal address book.
There are 2 sets of numbers next to a friends personal address book. The
first number is not in parentheses but right next to it is a greater
number in parentheses.

Hi All,
Somehow TB! stopped forwarding attachments along with the message. I
don't remember changing any setting that would have done this.
Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi All,
After dealing with (and solving) the mysterious appearance of a log in
window whenever TB! starts another problem has arisen; I can't send
attachments. Ordinary e-mail yes, but whenever I attach a file I get
the following error:

Hi All,
After many years of never having to log onto TB!, this morning out of
the blue I'm asked to supply log on credentials.
The box is entitled Log on to The Bat! and is asking for User and
Password. I never set these. Everyone who has access to that
machine swears that they didn't touch
Hi All,
After years of being a TB! POP user, I finally find myself in need of
using IMAP.
I know that TB! has had problems with IMAP in the past and I hope
those problems have been resolved. However, I have a different
problem: I know nothing about using IMAP.
What does subscribe mean?* What
Hi All,
Firstly thank you Alto and Stuart for your advice.
Is there an email client anyone can recommend that plays nice with
IMAP? Please don't say Outlook. Thunderbird? Eudora? Anything?

Ritlabs dealt with these issues? I would rather not
recommend switching over to another client.

So it seems that IMAP is the way to go, but I'm not familiar with the
protocol. Any good tutorials you could suggest? Or is it still
possible to download a copy of TB! that allows for the client/server
setup?

NZc It's not an option through the Bat!
Rename it to something.tbb and use Tools / Import Messages from the
Main Menu.
Once again thank you for all your help!

Hi All,
I recently posted a question about the maximum file (.tbb) size that
the Bat! can handle. My friend started getting warnings when the

Hi All,
Recently a friend ran into a problem where the Bat! started giving him
warnings that his inbox reached 2 gigs. He created another folder and
moved half of the contents of the default inbox to the new folder.
The Bat! continued to give him the error message, so he decided to

Hi Peter,
Firstly thank you for your response! Your suggestion will be tried
first thing.
That's far too much! I didn't know The Bat! warns about it, but right
it is! Incoming mails should be moved or filtered to a folder where
they belong, and the Inbox compressed.
