In TheBat 4.1.11, the backup file didn't get compressed

Was using TheBat 2.01.3. Any ideas about why this happened: I tried to send a specific RAR file, attached to an email using MIME, and got this error message every time I tried to send. I tried to send it about three times. It always stopped sending at the exact same place (I think) with about 10%

Message was viewable in 1.62r; not viewable in 200.6

How long should I wait for a reply to an emailed registration form before I decide that my registration attempt didn't work? I'm trying to register a boxed disk version. When trying to update the disk's ver. 1.49f to ver. 1.53d, I seem to need that registration password, etc. (sample) -
