To my surprise, my .tbk backup file (using 4.1.11) was about 3 times as large
as before. After I cleaned out and compressed the folders, it got back down to
normal, but why would the backup not be automatically minimized? If the user
doesn't realize that it's not minimized, the backups could was

Was using TheBat 2.01.3.
Any ideas about why this happened:
I tried to send a specific RAR file, attached to an email using MIME, and
got this error message every time I tried to send. I tried to send it about
three times. It always stopped sending at the exact same place (I think) with
about 10%
This type of message (from a different mailing list) used to show up in the
message auto-view pane (in v. 1.62r) but is NOT viewable in the auto-view
pane of v. 200.6.
Is there some option that I don't know about?

Randy

I don't know about any upcoming versions, but I have to say that the current
"user's guide" book (in the the boxed version) is not much help at all.

I thought I would share my technique for pre-filtering TBUDL
messages (getting just the original questions sent to my standard email
account, without so many reply messages).
I filter-out the replys, and just send the original question emails
to my standard email server.
Then, if the topic is

I was able to turn off autocomplete (for the To: box--I hate autocomplete)
in the registry (with regedit), but is there an option menu that does the same
thing, that I didn't notice?
Thanks,

How long should I wait for a reply to an emailed registration form before I
decide that my registration attempt didn't work? I'm trying to register a
boxed disk version. When trying to update the disk's ver. 1.49f to ver. 1.53d,
I seem to need that registration password, etc.
