That is a very short interval. Some POP3 servers may not be able to cope
with it. Have you tried setting it to something like 3 Minutes and see what
happens?

I have four accounts that checks mail. Accounts 1, 2, and 4 is set
to check mail every 30 seconds, the third is set to check every 30
minutes. But at the time of writing (12:49PM CET) TB hasn't checked
