Hello John,
My filter does not do anything. I installed it yesterday, marked
over 500 messages as Junk to enrich the database, and received 25
new spam messages since.
Did yours start to filter, and what are your setting in Preferences?

Hello All,
Is it wise to mark Spam mail that contains a lot of normal words
in it, as spam when using the Bayesit filter?
You probably seen one of these messages by now.
They look like this:
Buy this, enlarge that.

Hi MikeD,
I can't imagine how Bayesit would interfere with connection ... it
only filters the email.
Well, I too have experienced the Connectio Center hanging issue but
since uninstalling Bayesit the problem has disappeared.

Hi Bat! Fans,
Installed the Bayesit filter and trained it according to
instructions etc.
However since installed, I could not get a connection to my ISP.
As soon as I removed the filter, no problems at all.
Are there any special settings I need to know?
I have two isp accounts as well

Using The Bat! v2.01.3
not disciplined or organised enough to ensure it's always
up-to-date, and I'd rather have a bit more spam than worry about false positives. I
should say that neither BayesIt nor the newer Bayesian plug-in have ever given me
false positives, and I get maybe 10 spams a week that they don't pick up straight
instance (likely via a drive/network mapping).
Is there any other feature of TB which might help me in this regard?
Second, is there any other Bayesian spam plugin for TB? Are any planned?
What about non-Bayesian spam plugins?
I dropped K9 in favor of BayesIt (because I was going to use IMAP
(they don't work) and maintenance options which
don't seem to be fully operational (yet). It took me a little while to
get it going right and it still occasionally plays up. I have
experienced once or twice a kind of freezing, but restarting TB fixed
it straight away.
