I sent the following to The Bat! developers a week ago. I never
received a response. Can anyone tell me who the best person is to
contact to get an answer? E-mail address?

  Thanks

Subject: It appears I have screwed myself by registering v 1.62r early

The following was just sent to The Bat! developers.

  Hello The Bat! developers,

I'm using The Bat! Version 1.62r
  Serial Number BxxxBxxx
  under Windows 2000 5.0 Build 2195 Service Pack 3

I just registered The Bat! yesterday after only trying The Bat!
for 2 days of the 30 day evaluation. I registered before evaluation
was up to show support for your great product. Now I find out a new
version will be available in 6 days and I will be charged 50% of
     purchase price.

If I had waited until full evaluation had run out, then I would
only have had to pay full price of new version and nothing for
old. Thus, by showing support for The Bat! it appears I have screwed
     myself.

     Is this correct?

IMHO - Anyone who has registered Version 1.62r in the last 2
months should get the upgrade for free and NOT a 50% discount.
MOST shareware providers go longer than that before charging for
     a upgrade.

  Regards,
  Craig Westerman
