I would suggest that you don't send cut-mark notes to people who
haven't added any cut mark :-)
Or maybe it is better too add a valid cut mark if there is no cut mark
to the mailing list footer.

BTW, the cut mark needs to be before the signature and not after the
signature. In that way, your signature isn't quoted in
4 matches
