I use 'kludges' with a number of mailing lists where I want to filter
on X-headers added by the list server. This way I can be sure that
anything matching has definitely originated from the list server and
that personal replies (even ones cc'd to the list) will stay in my
inbox.

In another case I'm looking for a pattern in the Received: header and
'kludges' is needed for this.
