AFAIK it simply compares the message-id tags (somebody had a problem
over that a while ago

To clean up duplicate messages use the following commands:
Folders->Kill dupes or alternatively Folders->Kill dupes in All
folders.
I believe TB! actually compares the messages as the plain ASCII text
files, and kills the ones with the newer date. Can someone correct me
on this?
