I've used logstash to do this. It basically tail's the log file and sends
entries to greylog.

of Win 7 home edition (which was limiting anyway) because it was slow as
anything. I decided to go ahead with 8.1, and I'm pretty satisfied. It
was much simpler to install, and while the interface takes some getting

Why are you upgrading to an OS that's already pretty close to end-of-support?
If you're doing a clean OS install, might as well go right to Windows 8.1.
Anecdotally, you'll even get better performance on lower-end hardware (like
your Atom with only 4GB of RAM).

(blech!) to sync my phone. When I manage to go back to school, I will
