Location: *Bay Area, CA* *Duration: 7 weeks (40 hours per week) *Rate: **$30/hr max* *iPhone Application Developer* *Summary*: Develop iPhone Applications for the IS&T Retail Systems Team *Primary Responsibilities*: - Develop an iPhone application for use by the IS&T Retail Team. - Assist in the creation and maintenance of a web-based system to support the iPhone application. - Research new technologies and implement said technologies. - Identify areas of improvement for currently implemented systems. - Provide technical support for and on behalf of the IS&T Retail Team. - Create and maintain technical documents in support of development work. - Act as the liaison between various teams to ensure work meets the end users’ needs while keeping projects within a realistic set of goals. - Provide 3rd level support for store related issues. *Minimum Qualifications:* - Minimum 1 year of experience with mobile hardware and software, iPhone OS 3.0 is required. - Minimum 1 year of experience and expertise in iPhone application development is required. - Objective-C programming skills required. - Experience with User interface Design or Human-Computer Interaction is preferred. - Minimum 1 year of Apple Retail experience is preferred. - Familiarity with PHP and JavaScript programming concepts preferred. - Working knowledge of UNIX (bash shell scripting), AppleScript, SQL, C/C++, HTML, CSS, - Ability to work independently with little or no supervision while maintaining a high level of efficiency. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Ability to work in a dynamic environment. Must be flexible and quick to adapt to sudden changes and issues. - Very detail oriented and organized with a strong discipline of adhering to standards.
