TITLE: Business Analyst - HL7 LOCATION: Austin, TX SKILLS: BA, JAD, HL7, Medicaid
DESCRIPTION: Creates functional specifications and designs supporting a specific portion of MMIS or PCCM application areas. Performs project management responsibilities for assigned modification, enhancement and/or project requests. Works with Business Liaisons to understand functional system change request requirements and prioritizations. Produces functional design documentation describing changes required to support those needs. Manages completion of change request deliverables and milestones through project work plans. Monitors issues and risks and escalates issues to Business Liaisons and Team Leaders as appropriate. Assists Business Liaisons and Application Architects with the development of business cases. Works with Application Architects to make sure technical design meets both functional and technical requirements. Participates in activities with Business Liaisons and key customer group representatives, in conjunction with testing team members. Understands specific user functional area from an industry and functional perspective. Applies appropriate technical, industry, and functional knowledge to all work efforts. Produces complete and accurate documentation for work based on current documentation standards.
