PeopleSoft Time & Labor Project Manager Boston, MA. 12 months + Will require in person interview after successful phone screen. The client is seeking an experienced individual with a minimum of 5 years experience as project manager managing PeopleSoft Time and Labor projects. We are upgrading our PeopleSoft 8.0 HRMS system to PeopleSoft HRMS version 9.0 MP7 and require a Project Manager to manage the Company wide Time and Labor module rollout. Individuals should possess PeopleSoft project manager experience with large organizations preferably public sector, which have implemented large ERP packaged software systems. The initial duration of this contact assignment is for a 1 year period. POSITION OVERVIEW: · “Lead” project manager role for Time and Labor activities related to the PeopleSoft HRMS 9.0 Time and Labor phase 1 rollout · Manage the activities and provide direction to the Time and Labor functional project team · Develop and maintain a detailed Time and Labor project implementation plan and schedule · Create and manage project documentation and deliverables such as the Project Charter, Scope Documents, Risk log, Issues Log, Change Control log, Deliverables document, Status Reports and other project management office documentation · Lead and manage the Time and Labor team through planning, requirements, analysis, construction, testing and deployment phases of the project. · Facilitate team meetings and other group sessions as needed · Participate or lead special committees, if needed, which are formed to define policy, redefine business procedure and provide other strategic input to the project · Coordinate the Project’s review of the deliverables and obtain appropriate signoff by stakeholders · Communicate project progress to stakeholders and other interested Commonwealth parties and balance the competing interests of the project stakeholders · Coordinate project activities among other Commonwealth departments and agencies such as Information Technology, Comptroller, Human Resource, and others. REQUIRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE (5 years mandatory minimum experience): · Experience with ‘hands-on” management of an implementation of PeopleSoft HRMS Time and Labor application version 8.9 or 9.0 (preferred) · Project Management experience leading PeopleSoft HRMS Time and Labor projects · A very good understanding of PeopleSoft HRMS Time and Labor application 8.9 or 9.0 delivered features and functionality · PeopleSoft Time and Labor employee and manager self-service · Strong facilitation, communication, team building, negotiation and influencing skills · Experience with large organizations (50,000+ employee populations) · Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization · Ability to lead internal focus groups for the purpose of gathering requirements · Analytical thinker and ability to analyze the application security current state and make recommendations · Experience with the full life cycle of a PeopleSoft Time and Labor implementation project
