Job Title: Sr. ETL/Informatica Developer Location: Alpharetta, GA Duration: 6+ Months Senior data integration developer on the Enterprise Datawarehouse development team. This position requires extensive ETL experience, solid Datawarehouse modeling experience, some database administration experience on Oracle, such as partitioning and tuning, Unix Shell Scripting in relation to Data Warehousing, and senior design and analysis skills. Responsible for the full life cycle development from analysis through implementation into a production operational data store and enterprise Datawarehouse. Responsible for the definition, development, and testing of the processes and programs necessary to extract data from the various operational databases, transform and cleanse the data, and load the information into the ODS, Datawarehouse, and/or data marts. Experienced with all the techniques used to manage and maintain a Datawarehouse environment. Extensive knowledge of data warehousing ETL procedures a must. Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced production environment is critical. Ability to work independently or with a team to do all of the following: communicate well with users to understand requirements, analyze source systems, identify business rules, create logical and physical/dimensional data models, map source system data to logical and physical data models, and resolve data and design inconsistencies. Technical Skills: Expertise with Informatica Power Center, including a thorough knowledge of all the transformation functionality of the tool including reusable objects and building of sessions/batches.
