My client is looking for a MicroStrategy Business Analyst in Charlotte NC.
Rate is $35/hr Analysis and Solution Definition * Design and Build web-based applications to serve up our business intelligence suite of reports and analytics. * Communicate architectural decisions orally and in writing using strong communication skills. * Assist in the design of the MicroStrategy Metadata Layer for our Business Intelligence solution. * Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of client's organization and industry. * Reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution. * Develops functional specifications for client engagements. Technical Recommendation and Testing * Strong understanding of SQL, VBA and other reporting languages * MicroStrategy experience is preferred * Ability to build reports utilizing industry standard reporting tools (Cognos, Business Objects, OBIEE, etc.) * Leads testing efforts. * Ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner. * Works with client personnel to identify required changes. * Communicates needed changes to development team. Project Execution * Assists in enforcement of project deadlines and schedules. * Takes input from supervisor and appropriately and accurately applies comments/feedback. * Consistently delivers high-quality services to our clients.
