Position: SQL Server DBA with UNIX Scripting Length: 1+ year Location: Chicago, IL Requirements: At a high level, client wants to ensure the candidate has the following: * 7+ years experience * Worked in large database shops (100+ databases) * Is very fluent in Microsoft concepts and troubleshooting (MS DBA certified would be a good sign) * Is knowledgeable of installation and configuration of Reporting, Analysis and Integration Services * Understands sizing of these environments very well for performance tuning and optimization * Very efficient at creating and maintaining automation scripts A cross-over with Oracle DBA skills and UNIX scripting is very much desired.
