This resource will be working with business users to gather and document business requirements for new reporting needs, architect solutions for new reporting needs and create detailed design documents and technical specifications, work with off-shore development team to ensure coding is done per specs, code review of off-shore teams code, testing prior to releasing into production. B. Candidates will need to have strong Analytical skills to analyze existing environment and document current state, identify areas of improvement in reporting architecture, ETL logic and processes and document future state. C. Individual will be responsible for investigating and documenting Data Lineage for existing Data Warehouse fields. This involves researching these elements as they are used in existing Microstrategy Reporting logic, ETL processes, and thoroughly documenting sources, transformations and destinations, following a specific format. D. Also responsible for reviewing with the owners of these elements to insure that the existing ETL logic is still accurate and valid, writing detailed design specs for any changes that are required, and estimating the time required to build/implement these changes. May also be required to do the programming for some of the changes. Skills: 1. 5 + years of report development experience using Microstrategy, including the Desktop & Architect features. 2. This position will require hands on development skills in Microstrategy, as may be required to also code along with Microstrategy architecture experience 3. Candidates will need to have a strong Infromatica experience and Oracle PL/SQL experience. 4. Strong SQL skills 5. Experience designing and developing static and dynamic dashboards would be a plus.
