* Responsible for systems support, performance monitoring and tuning,
capacity planning, problem resolution tracking, software upgrades,
application support and optimization, and project implementation planning
for enterprise web applications.

* Ensures solutions meet business objectives, and establishes and maintains
a high level of user trust and confidence in IT services.


1. The support responsibilities include: 24x7 rotational on-call support,
troubleshooting, incident notification and resolution, problem management,
post-mortem analysis, and root cause identification.

2. Interacts with and coordinates activities of cross-functional teams,
including development, system administration, database administration,
network engineering and production support staff.

3. Helps to develop and document standard operating procedures and best
practices in our technical repository.

4. Has the ability to identify gaps and proactively improve system
inefficiencies.

5. Candidate must have the ability to self-manage time and multiple
constraints in a rapidly changing, high-pressure and complex technical
environment.

6. Travel is required when there is a need to attend meetings at customer
locations.

terms.
* Document procedures for use by other engineers.
* Excellent understanding and experience in deployment, management and
troubleshooting of ASP.NET <http://asp.net/> applications running on IIS6
* Familiarity with programming concepts and practices
* Knowledge of C#, VB.NET <http://vb.net/>, Javascript, and CSS
* Deployment and replication of Code using Microsoft Application Center
* Log mining techniques such as awstats and webalizer
* Scripting using VB/Batch in MS for scheduling batch jobs
* Version control systems: Subversion / CVS / Team foundation / VSS.
* Ability to debug ASP.NET <http://asp.net/> errors and log files
* Knowledge of Microsoft SQL
* Experience/knowledge of Web cross-platform (PC/Mac; IE/FireFox/Safari)
development/compatibility issues is a plus
