*Position: OBIEE Business Analyst/ Functional Consultant* *Location: Chicago, IL* *Length: 6 months* * * The OBIEE / Data Warehouse Business Analyst will be responsible for requirements gathering, documentation, interfacing with end users and generating well organized documentation that can be reviewed with the user community for update, concurrence, and testing. Ø Capability to lead issues to resolution. Ø Expertise in requirement gathering, understanding business users requirement and convert them in functional/technical specifications and developing an architecture and strategy for designing and building a data warehouse and Business Intelligence solutions. Ø Excellent skills in communication, coordinating activities, working with others, multi-tasking project assignments & delivering solutions within time. Ø At least 3 years experience as a OBIEE / Data Warehouse Business Analyst performing the following tasks : Requirement gathering/define requirements, Use case modeling for requirement gathering , System testing, create Test plan and execute plans Ø Solid SDLC experience Ø Solid understanding of OBIEE functionalities and Data Warehouse Concept. Ø Strong written and oral communication skills Ø Possess positive and outgoing attitude, proactive mind-set, creative thinking, negotiation and organizational skills Ø Escalate conflicts in a timely manner to senior members of the team Ø Certified in OBIEE is preferred. Ø A proven functional/technical professional with at least four full lifecycle OBIEE and Data Warehouse implementations and three years of industry and/or consulting experience.
