If you have anyone with you, please respond with suitable resume to r...@somasoftsol.com along with Contact Details, Current Location, Visa Status, Availability, Pay Rate (all inclusive) and Employer Details for the following requirement. ================================================ Title: *Oracle Apps DBA* Duration: 8 Months Location: Rochester, MN - ONSITE Rate: Need Best *Responsibilities:* 1) Controls migrations of scripts, stored procedures, schema changes, reference data changes and menu changes through the development life cycle. 2) Works closely with the data architect to ensure data definition fit within client's IT team. 3) Provides technical support to application development teams. 4) Enforces and maintains schema constraints to ensure data integrity. 5) Administers all schema objects, including tables, clusters, indexes, views, sequences, packages and procedures. 6) Assists with impact analysis of any changes made to the schema objects. 7) The Apps DBA is responsible for monitoring and optimizing the performance of the application within the schema and offering assistance to developers in optimizing their applications, queries, etc., Works with the SysDBA in tuning database/instance. 8) First point of contact for development staff with problems regarding databases & schemas. 9) The Apps DBA is responsible for the batch loading of data into official production ORACLE tables from approved data files, etc. given by development staff of vendors of applications. The Apps DBA will ensure that the data loaded into ORACLE tables is as accurate as the data source.
