Skill set requirements include excellent communication and planning skills. Experience must include large database/server migration efforts including server forklift moves across data centers and the ability to work with the Applications Developments teams in terms technical planning. Ability to effectively work under tight time lines and pressure as well as demonstrate a sense of urgency in meeting project schedules. Technical expertise needs to include the latest versions of Sybase and Oracle. This is not a Production Support role. This role will support all new build work activity for database builds and configuration work activity required to move / build out new production and disaster recovery infrastructure. ***This is going to be a lot of build work and merging data. There will be some production support work, but that is not the focus.
