Primary Skill SQL Server Other Skills Need Locals Duration 2 Months Plus Location Livingston NJ Description Looking for a Senior SQL developer with extensive MS SQL development experience and working knowledge of MS Access and MS Excel. The right candidate will help identify business requirements, develop information models, perform data analysis, design advanced SQL queries and reports, design and build data marts and maintain databases. The group is in the process of building and supporting database/s to gather and manipulate financial data to produce Regulatory Reports for the Federal Reserve. The candidate needs to be self-directed, have good time management and interpersonal skills and enjoy a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail, precision solution crafting and ability to communicate and work equally well with system and business users / executives is required. Responsibilities • Design advanced SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, scripts, cursors • Heavy SSIS design and development • Create, maintain, modify, and optimize SQL Server databases • Collaborate with other programmers on data modeling • Optimize query and table design with knowledge of database performance, capacity and replication Requirements • Heavy SSIS design and development • Extensive experience with MS SQL Server 2005 • Experience designing and implementing new databases • Extensive experience writing advanced SQL queries, analyzing and optimizing queries • Broad understanding of software development • Highly proficient in MS Access and MS Excel • Creative problem solving • Excellent communication and presentation skills • Highly desirable to have knowledge of stored procedures and DTS packages • Highly desirable to have knowledge of Business Objects Mark Syscom Technologies, Inc.
