*Duration: 5 months +* *Location: Norwalk CT* *Rate Goal: $50 max * * * *Title: Peoplesoft Functional HR Consultant* (must also have expert level Excel skills) * * *Job Description* We are currently looking for a PeopleSoft Functional expert who can help with System Configuration, Testing, Training and End User support for one or more of the following PeopleSoft Modules for Version 8.9: HR, Payroll (US & Canada), Base Benefits, Employee Self Service, Manager Self Service, Security, Position Management, Query. *Candidates need to have expert level MS Excel skills.** * - Perform configuration, setup and testing support for new modules and business processes. - Administer role-level system security and workflow configurations. - Fulfill ad-hoc reporting requests. - Develop system specifications for projects to meet new business requirements. - Working with the Manager, HR Systems and Process Improvement, participate in project planning and administration, including issue tracking, project roll-out, communications and end-user training. - Develop test plans to ensure reliable project implementation. - Participate on project teams for large strategic projects including system upgrades and implementations of new modules. Daily responsibilities: 1) End-user Support 2) Updating Project Documentation 3) Creating ad-hoc Queries 4) Auditing & updating data How many team members will the candidate be working with? 5 on the HIS team.
