Typically qualified candidates for this role have grown from an Informatica developer position into a lead or SME level. The selected candidate will be supporting the Informatica development group while monitoring the production databases (Oracle) they are working with. Strong DBA background is required along with experience in a Data Warehouse and ETL environment. Job Purpose/ Description: * Manages and maintains all production and non-production databases * Responsible for standards and design of physical data storage, maintenance, access and security administration * Responsible for design and correct functioning of backup and recovery on DBMSs * Configures database parameters, creates prototype designs against logical data models, and defines data repository requirements, data dictionaries and warehousing requirements * Optimizes database access and allocates/re-allocates database resources for optimum configuration, database performance and cost * Evaluates and implements new initiatives on technology and process improvement * Develops database and warehousing designs across multiple platforms and computing environments * Serves as SME in all aspects of data management and database design * Serves as initial point of escalation for all processing and operational issues * Serves as SME in all aspects of DBMS software * Assists management in coordinating business area activities and balancing workload * May design, implement and improve workflows, as well as assign projects * Leads interdepartmental or interdivisional operational project initiatives Technical Experience Required: * 6+ Years Informatica experience * 4+ Years Database Administration, ideally Oracle * 8+ Years overall professional experience * 6+ Years Data Warehouse and ETL experience * Strong communicator with the ability to work with all levels of personnel Reply with following Required Details: Full Name : Work Authorization(US Citizen, GC Holder, H1b or TN holder): Contact #: Email id: Current Location (Place & State): Availability Date: Relocation: Last 4-Digits of SSN: Do you give us the exclusive authorization to represent you for this position?
