*Analyzes, develops, tests and implements database designs in support of
corporate and client area technology requirements. Performs data modeling,
logical and physical database design. Includes maintenance of database
dictionaries, monitoring of standards and procedures, access methods and
time, validation checks, organization and statistical methods. Responsible
for data loading, security, performance monitoring and tuning, capacity
planning, and backup and recovery. Executes database software installation,
database creations/configurations and loads.

• Record, follow up with, and report on support issues
• Develop test plans to ensure quality assurance and performance integrity
of information systems

Information Systems
• Oversee design and organization of databases
• Assess, test, and implement new solutions/technologies
• Provide system management including configuration, security, resource
monitoring and reporting
• Reassess application functionality and relevance to current work processes

• Develop and maintain information system documentation
• Ensure system capacity requirements

Other
• Participate in the quality improvement process

Job Requirements
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, information technology
• In-depth knowledge of relational databases, SQL, and Sybase
• 3 + years experience in information systems

Preferred:
• Experience in Visual Basic programming
