In replying do not change the subject line. * *About the Job: *The selected Datastage Developer will execute, maintain, troubleshoot and document existing Data Warehouse load processes using Ascential DataStage and SQL*Loader in an Oracle environment. *Role will include: * - Participate in a project team to design and develop new Data Warehouse datastores - Analyze business requirements, developing target-source data mappings and delivering ETL processes for end-user OLAP and reporting initiatives. - Setup and maintain load processes for Data Warehouse development, test, and implementation environments. - Manage the developing control processes for the migration of code through Development, Test, and Production environments. - Designing/developing processes to automate, streamline, and monitor Data Warehouse load processes - Administer and support Ascential DataStage system software on a Unix platform * What is expected from the DataStage Developer: *The selected candidate must have expertise in data warehouse Full Life Cycle approaches & concepts using DW best practices and procedures. They must be proficient using the Ascential DataStage ETL tool and in addition have technical expertise with Unix scripting (prefer korn) and various Oracle tools (SQL, SQL*Loader, etc..).
