We are looking for Functional PS Asset Mgmt Consultant
PeopleSoft Asset Management Functional
Location DC Metro
Start Date Nov 2nd 2009
End Date 6 Months with possible extension
Rate $60/hr
Required Skills The functional specialist, working with and under the
direction of the House AM Lead, shall support the configuration,
documentation, customization and testing of the House's ERP PeopleSoft
application (Atlas) specifically in the area of Asset Management. Specific
tasks include, but would not be limited to, the following:
--Develop AM user guides and user acceptance test procedures.
--Review the existing initial AM configuration, and make recommendations if
warranted.
--Draft Asset Management design.
--Work with users and the House AM lead to develop and document House AM
business processes.
--Work with GL, PO, AP and AR teams to develop and document interface
requirements and designs.
--Work with users and House AM lead to identify and document AM reports
requirements.
--Work with users, AM lead, and the AM technical specialist to develop
procedures and requirements for House AM customizations:
--Congressional Transition: Mass change by department
--Repayment plans: Custom forms, People Code and SQR.
--Maintenance plans: Custom forms, People Code and SQR.
--Data conversion from legacy Oracle Financials FA system.
Required Skills and Experience:
--Demonstrated ability to facilitate discussions with the business user
community around AM business process and to promote change of our current
processes towards best practices and delivered PS functionality. Ability to
identify and resolve issues.
--Prior experience implementing PeopleSoft Financials, specifically with AM,
GL, PO and AP, in that order.
--Knowledge and experience working with the AM interfaces to GL, PO and AP.
--Knowledge and experience working with PeopleSoft AP interfaces, including
the AM interface. Experience creating vouchers programmatically.
--Knowledge and experience working with GL and the interaction of GL with
AM. Experience with the J-Gen. Experience with entry events.
--Proven ability to draft, update, and review functional documents, user
reference guides and training materials.
--Proven ability to develop test data, test scripts and execute
comprehensive integration testing of Asset Management and its related PS
Financial modules.
--Excellent oral and written communications skills
