Our applications run on high-availability platforms hosting mission critical applications and services for the Messaging community. Exceptional problem solving and multi-tasking skills are essential. Install, upgrade, manage, and maintain critical storage components for VeriSign's global storage computing infrastructure. Experience provisioning storage from storage array to server level is needed. Working knowledge of Veritas Netbackup is a definite plus. SAN experience with EMC, Sun StorageTek or similar modular storage is needed for this position. Provide 24x7 rotating support, work on assigned tasks and participate in troubleshooting efforts. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage conflicting priorities is a must. Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years of industry experience in related area. Certifications: Solaris, EMC, Netapp, and Brocade certifications are a plus.
