SPECS: LINUX/UNIX ADMIN o Client is looking for a Senior Consultant with strong system architecture knowledge, theories and concepts needed to scale large IT clustered server environments o Need an innovative thinker who understands Sun Solaris and Redhat with IN DEPTH knowledge o Must be well versed with technical issues on Veritas o Current environment is 60% Solaris and 40% Redhat – within the next year, client is looking to be be more focused on LINUX than Unix platforms for their enterprise infrastructure o Must have the ability to innovate, architect, design and understand virtualization concepts specific to large LINUX/UNIX environments o Must understand storage area networks(SAN) and how they react to one another, understand zones, containers, etc o Must have knowledge of LUNS, METALUNS, SCSI 3 reservations and how storage devices handle Veritas arrays and understand the connectivity behind them.. o Understand concepts of Disaster Recovery and moving critical data from one location to another
