Job Title: SSIS Specialist Requirement Location: Holland, MI Duration: 1 week Description We are interested in ramping up our internal skillset with the Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Integration Services toolset and, to accomplish this, would like to bring a highly skilled specialist onsite for 1 week to work with us and share his/her knowledge. The successful candidate should have the following quailifications: · Demonstrated expertise with SQL Server 2005/2008 Integration Services · Experience using SSIS for relational database transformation and loading methods for dimension and fact tables in SQL Server Analysis Services · Experience handling processing errors to create a robust solution · Knowledge of best practices applying SSIS for ETL soutions · Experience handling common ETL scenarios by creating solutions, using the SSIS toolset, with examples we can learn from While onsite, we will work on a practical problem for merging data from an Oracle database with mirrored tables within SQL Server. We will also tackle a problem of loading data from flat files out of an old Informix ISAM system looking to optimize performance as much as possible.
