Please forward qualified resume ASAP…..let me know which is for planning and which is for support *Net Apps VMware Consultant* *Melville**, NY or Warren, NJ* *12 months* *Rate: Competitive* Provide operational support of NetApp\VMWare environments including on-call and off-hours responsibilities Work with Vmware virtualization and support team to perform forecasting, chargeback reporting and utilization reports. Perform hardware and O/S testing in conjunction with storage engineering. Work with the Datacenter team for datacenter space forecasting and to ensure proper port configuration for the Vwmware environment. knowledge of NetApp and VMWare ESX 3.x products that will include all of the following tasks: provisioning, Thin Provisioning, Deduplication, ONTAP upgrades, ONTAP patches, working knowledge of Wintel and UNIX platforms. Candidates must be able to troubleshoot Level 3 problems. Strong knowledge of NetApp's technologies ONTAP, NFS, CIFS, ASIS, Operation Manager, Performance Advisor, Provisioning Manager, and related products. Server Virtualization, ESX, VMotion, VMDK over NFS & SnapManager for Virtual Infrastructure.
