Philadelphia PA Rate: $50/hr Skills: * Windows systems environment experience. Installing, administering, and supporting multiple distributed products which include .Net and Java based development tools, software code management, QA testing, migrating data, and systems development life cycle. * Ability to produce installation run books that are well written. * Additional credit for experience with: CA-HarvestSoftware Change Manager, Caliber, Quality Center, Load Runner, SQL Server, Oracle, Perl Scripting, Team Foundation Server, Visual Source Safe, Cruise Control, OpenMake, Nant, PVCS, Visual Studio.Net, Java. (Request is for systems experience and support is not a request for application developers) * Education: Bachelor degree in Computer Science or a related discipline and at least two, typically four or more years work experience Duties: Distributed App Dev Products Engineer Sr Spc will be utilizing independent judgment and discretion, assists with the design, engineering and development of distributed product solutions. Will support the design, analysis, development and/or implementation phase of engineering infrastructure solutions. Assists in troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure compatibility issues based on system architecture, project requirements, customer expectations. May assist in the diagnosis and correction of distributed product problems.
