*Test Software Engineer* St. Louis MO 63127 -- Locals Highly Preferred
Duration: 8-12 months *Must: Enterprise Application testing, Manufacturing industry experience* This is for a position. We are searching for an experienced software test engineers who will join our team to lead developing test strategy of Enterprise Applications. The individual will also be responsible understanding the overall system and leading small test team. This individual should be highly motivated and ready to contribute to the success of the team. *RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES * 1. Leading, defining, and implementing an automated test infrastructure which can be utilized across product lines for system integration tests, as well as component-level testing. 2. Leading the team in the development of test strategies for Enterprise Applications, Solutions and Infrastructure 3. Leading the team in the analysis of requirements and test case development to meet the requirements of the projects; 4. Working on cross-department efforts by communicating and negotiating with other teams to accomplish goals; 5. Coordinating and participating in software work product reviews/inspections; 6. Keeping abreast of development and test techniques and tools. *EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * 1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related engineering discipline with 5+ years of software engineering experience. 2. 2-3 years of experience in testing Enterprise IT applications 3. Knowledge of the entire product development lifecycle (requirements, design, implementation, test and deployment) is needed. A solid understanding of advanced software testing techniques in an IT environment is required. 4. Excellent written and oral communication skills, along with proven ability to interact with other disciplines outside of engineering are a must. 5. The position requires current knowledge in the latest test environments and software process, and test automation. 6. A proven track record implementing automated test platforms that support nightly cursory testing, software acceptance, and/or validation testing. 7. Experience with database tools to capture test results is desired.
