*Summary/Justification: *

The non-production database administration team currently supports the
following SYBASE databases: Zippy, APStar, Adios and Webstats.

Upcoming projects in the SYBASE space include upgrades of APStar and Adios
and Webstats to support WaMu. In addition there are several requests to
replicate data between SYBASE applications and other databases which have
been delayed due to resource constraints. Because of this project workload
in addition to the full time workload that day-to-day support of the SYBASE
applications entail, we require a full time resource which is being
requested on another requisition. This contract resource will support the
SYBASE audit which is upcoming in 2009 and do the coding for a wrapper which
will support access admin functionality for all Sybase databases for
production and non-production. This issue has been identified as critical
by the Retail IT risk team and must be remediated before the completion of
the audit in 2009.
