About tesseract-android-tools

Rafael, I have the same problem, I´m trying to execute android test project, there is a step with the same code of line 3: baseApi.init(myDir, "eng");, in my test I, I believe my traineddata is ok, because the test execute a method to verify if file exists, and is ok, but, I get an error, from jni.

These are not "paid customizations" and not are "improvements", but a separate software product which uses Tesseract in its original form, almost without any corrections. So I don't see many chances it will go open source or publicly available. Warm regards, Dmitri Silaev www.CustomOCR.com
