When I boot, the transition from plymouth to KDM occurs immediately. There is
no waiting.
It is when I power off, that I see the
could not write bytes: broken pipe
lines. There must be at least a dozen, while the power off process appears to

I was able to successfully install Fedora 14 RC1 x86_54 on my Dell
Latitude E6400 laptop today. I need to change some video options a bit
since I use dual monitors, and look more closely at the available yum
repos, but overall it was quite successful.

The majority works, the only thing that lets it down is the GUI to
configure 2 finger scrolling on touchpad hardware that supports
reporting finger width.
