The Aug 9 RC2 dis not throw an unhandled exception when
"basic storage devices" looked at my main HD with a variety
of Linux and Windows systems on it.
But it did complain that swap areas lacked UUID protection.
(What's wrong with looking at the partition ID?)

Anybody sees this too:
After downloading the F16/TC2 x86_64 desktop ISO and burning it, I
booted from the CD media: No GDM after boot, the last messsage on the
console is "Started D-Bus System Message Bus". The ribbon on the buttom
of the screen is completely white (this took much time!!) . N
