Thanks to you too Antonio. I am familiar with the "How_to_debug_Xorg_problems"
document and have tried a few things but no luck so far. the last update
rendered F-16 inoperable thus, I decided to do a clean re-install and keep
trying.
Thanks again.

Adam your offer is typical of what I like about Linux and Red Hat (My early
steps in Linux were with Red Hat 7.2). Thanks.
I have a bug filed (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=755336)

Well...yes. Lots of things change. Otherwise there'd be no point doing a
new release. mesa, the kernel, and the X server all got major updates.

Regardless there is something that changed from F-15 to F-16. F-15 runs with
no problem.
It would be interesting to know how many potential users were turned away by an
installation that fails during the first boot.
Just for the sake of a test I installed Ubuntu 11.10 with no problems. It

Wish you and yours a Happy and Healthy Thanksgiving. Just finished updating
F-16. The update rendered the system inoperable. Will re-install an test. Will
keep you informed. I have been using Fedora since Version 3. I think that F-16
was rushed out without lacking sufficient testing. The QA stan
