NFS not working

Some recent (Fedora 17) update seems to have changed NFS in a way that it no longer works for me. I find I have to do modprobe nfs after booting to get NFS(v4) mounting to work at all; and even then, automounting (via autofs) doesn't appear to work. I see this message in /var/log/messages:
