Xfce's i686 liveinst: help is not working properly

2015-10-29 Thread Giulio E.
Hi folks. I've just encountered and reported bug 1276226 ( https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1276226). If you'll install a RC6 before the go/no-go, I kindly ask you to try to press Anaconda's "Help" button. At this moment, it's important to know how widespread is this bug (and if it's a

No initial-setup on Cinnamon RC10

2015-10-30 Thread Giulio E.
Hi folks. I've just installed the RC10 of Cinnamon with qemu-kvm. I chose not to add an user during installation. On the first boot however, initial -setup didn't pop up at all. I hope this is related only to qemu-kvm and doesn't affect release blocking desktop but... Here's the scaring question:

About the proposed final blocker regarding DrKonqi (1301092)

2016-02-22 Thread Giulio E.
Hi folks. Just a note for the next blocker review... Yesterday I've proposed this: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi? id=1301092 As Rex pointed out, this bug is present on F23 and it isn't reproducible on Rawhide. I can confirm the app seems to work properly on F24 (should have paid more

Bug 1317145 and F24

2016-03-20 Thread Giulio E.
Several people encountered random freezes with a Qt environment (KDE or LxQt) and Intel chipset on Fedora 23. Here's the report: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1317145 Did anybody hit this with F24? If yes, I think we should propose it as blocker, because it sounds like a nasty issue

Hi folks, I've been pretty busy during the last months, but I plan to return back on track as soon as possible (at least for the F26 cycle), in order to help with some testing. As far as release validation testing concerns... I noticed I haven't received the [Test-Announce] related to the nominat
