Hi,
I don't remember seeing this on F18 with gnome 3.6. After entering my
password and clicking Enter in GDM for logging in, cursor always moves
to a bottom-right position in the screen. This happens all the time
and I think the position is always the same. Do you have this issue?

It has a Intel 2nd generation video controller (sandy bridge family)
and the driver is i915 which should be the less problematic driver I
think.

install a F18 VM and update from updates-testing to
see if it happens or not.
But I hope that this won't hurt people once the updates from
updates-testing got merged to the updates repository.

Well I can't reproduce this on my laptop but I'll try to enable
updates-testing and fetch the updates to r
Okay,
So this is really related to the shared-mime-info update from 1.0.x to
1.1. Once you downgrade it or reinstall it the issue disappears and
you can't reproduce this.

I think the problem is not related to cogl as there isn't an update
for it in the repository for a while. The segfault seem to be a
side-effect of another issue since a user reported that the issue is
fixed by reinstalling shared-mime-info.
I'll look into this and furthe
