Add GRUB_DISABLE_LINUX_RECOVERY=true to /etc/default/grub and recreate

How can I prevent the "recovery" entry
from been added to /boot/grub2/grub.cfg
I just find it confusing (to me that is).
Have looked at /etc/default/*
and /etc/grub.d.
But am uncertain.
