Anyway, I think it's very sad seeing Omega removed from teTeX for
what may be an indefinite period of time.
How about telling that to the Omega developers?

When installing the latest pretest, I encountered the following problems:
1) I noticed that in the top-level Makefile target install texconfig init
has been replaced by fmtutil -all. As a consequence, the tex links,
such as latex, are no longer made during an install and one has to run
