I ran the batchfile to install (Miktex) and refreshed the database.
Everything goes well, except when i choose \largemusicsize and using dvips, i got the
error:

Another quick question,
Is it possible to use colour in musixtex? I can think of a
number of possible uses, marking voices in fugues, noting
changes to a score etc.

What do you mean to volunteer?
I just uploaded PMX Version 2.402. There's one new feature, automatic
forced beam patterns. If the option ":" (colon) is included in the starting
symbol "[" for a forced beam, then henceforth beams of the same length will
be forced in that line of music, until stopped. Stop them by either (a)
