Error messages can be difficult to program, because its hard for the
programmer to anticipate everything that could go wrong. In this case, PMX
doesnt check anything about the next line after Ti; it just accepts it.
Then when \\input musixper\ was used as an
argument in the TeX macro \titles
Yeah right...I just installed the 64 bits version :) but the problem remains. I
tried to check/uncheck the Bibtex and Makeindex boxes, but same result in both
cases. I don't get it. Should I provide you more information?Thanks for your

Thank you for your response Bob! As you recommended, I put "Main file's full
path without extension" as command line, i.e., "%bm" in texniccenter. I
double-checked the link you provided, which gives the same instructions as you
do on texniccenter. However, I have this error, building my file:mus

there is no reason for this "Ti" statement. It has survived some copy
and paste operation and escaped my attention. In my first test of your
code I erroneously removed the blank line after "Ti". But still I find
this error message kind off misleading. Anyhow, thanks again.

This is very strange! When initially working out the solution, I had gotten
EXACTLY the same error:
Runaway argument?
{\titles {2.0}{\\input musixper\}{2.0}{}{2.0}{}{0}}\en \endeq \pnotes \ETC.
The problem was basically caused by your having used Ti and then leaving
