Howdy!
Grotto Meeting Wednesday!
Carlos Ortega Lopez will be sharing about his caving trip to Main Drain in Utah
this summer. Should be a great talk with the possible bonus of some Utah
canyoneering pics. See you there!
For information on Underground Texas Grotto activities, please see
David,
A most unusual and daring climb. I
am not a rock climber but have never seen this technique. He puts a lot of
faith in these hand tools but they seem to be most effective. Thanks!

All:
The meeting last night was very interesting. Cavers in attendance included
Rune Burnet, Susan Souby, Andrea Croskrey, Geoff Hoese, Jim Kennedy and myself.
Geoff has the contact information for Chris Bell and has already asked him if
he could present his findings on Phillips Cave in
Nico Hauwert was also in attendance. I agree, it would be a great talk for
TSA Spring Convention, and Chris is a very engaging speaker.
Among the other fauna so far identified in the cave is a dog, lizard, and
extinct ground sloth.

Great info, Mallory.
Is the relative donation to TCMA different if we use the Amazon link found
on the TCMA website rather than Amazon Smile? I heard somewhere that SCCi
encouraged shoppers to use their website link instead of Smile because they
received a larger donation.
Can anyone confirm?
Duly noted for Spring Convention planning.
